Puppy Love is an innocent act of spontaneity that fulfills my dream. I have always loved how a typeface can infuse a strong character into a design.
Creating my own typeface has been a long-term dream of mine. So, I told myself that if I ever designed my own typeface, it should be something very special that reflects a bit of my personality.
Contrary to what I had imagined, this typeface came together surprisingly quickly and spontaneously. Instead of feeding to my perfectionist tendencies, I chose to keep it honest and imperfect. It feels like I’m sharing the beginning of something special with you, not the end. Through Puppy Love, I hope you all find the courage to bring something out, even if it’s not perfect. And I wish for everyone to see the beauty in imperfection.
